(2) The rules are based on the Football Competition Rules 2023/24 issued by the Japan Football Association.

(3) The match time for the group stage is 70 minutes (with a halftime of 10 minutes), and for the knockout stage is 80 minutes (with a halftime of 15 minutes). In the group stage, if the result is not determined within the playing time, it will be considered a draw. However, in the Round of 16 and quarterfinals, if the result is not determined within the playing time, it will be decided by a penalty kick shootout. In the semifinals and finals, there will be a 20-minute extension after a 5-minute break, and if the result is still not determined, it will be decided by a penalty kick shootout.

(4) The ranking of each group's league matches shall be determined as follows.
Points are awarded as follows: a win is worth 3 points, a draw is worth 1 point, and a loss is worth 0 points. The team with the most points will be ranked higher.
The team with a higher goal difference will be ranked higher if the points are the same.
If the goal difference is the same, the team with more goals will be ranked higher.
If the scores are the same in ③, the result will be determined by the results of the matches between the teams. However, in the case of a draw, a lottery will be conducted. (A preliminary lottery and a main lottery will be held. The preliminary lottery will be drawn first from the top row of the group league star table.)

(5) Knockout Stage Qualifying Teams

Semifinal Round) There will be no 3rd place playoff, and the teams eliminated in the semifinals will be considered as 3rd place.

I) During the tournament, players who accumulate two warnings will not be able to participate in the next match. Players who have been dismissed will also not be able to participate in the next match.
Lo)Warnings issued during the group stage will not carry over to the quarterfinals. However, if a suspension from the group stage has not been served, it will carry over and be applied in the semifinals.
Example: Players who receive their second warning in the quarterfinals will not be able to participate in the semifinals.
