・The 48 teams are divided into 12 groups from A to L and compete in the group stage. The top 2 teams from each group and the top 3rd place team from each group will advance to the knockout stage, making a total of 32 teams.
・The match time for the group stage to the quarterfinals is 70 minutes, and the semifinals and finals are 80 minutes (with a halftime break of 10 minutes). In the group stage, if the outcome is not determined within the game time, it will be considered a draw. However, in the round of 32, round of 16, and quarterfinals, if the outcome is not determined within the game time, it will be decided by a penalty kick. In the semifinals and finals, there will be a 20-minute extension after a 5-minute break, and if the outcome is still not determined, it will be decided by a penalty kick.
