Today, we are pleased to announce that Masataka KOBAYASHI and Taiyo YAMAGUCHI, players belonging to our club, have been selected for the U-22 Japan national team members who will participate in the 'England Expedition' held in November, as announced by the Japan Football Association (JFA).

"I am very happy to have been selected for the U-22 Japan national team.

Matches against the U-20 England national team and AFC Bournemouth are valuable opportunities to gain experience, so I want to see how far my abilities can go and use that to grow.

I will fully commit myself with the awareness and responsibility as a representative of Tokyo to give back to the team the experience gained from the expedition. Thank you for your support.

"I am honestly very happy to have been called up to represent the national team again after a long time.
This is a valuable opportunity to gain good experience, so I will fight with all my might to ensure it leads to my growth.

However, as a Tokyo player, I am first focusing on winning the upcoming match against FC Machida Zelvia. I am committed to the results to contribute to Tokyo’s victory and will give my all in daily training aiming to be selected for the squad.
