"To everyone involved with FC Tokyo, long time no see. My beloved club, FC Tokyo, dyed in blue and red, was everything to me. I have been indebted to the club for about nine years including my time in the academy. Above all, I am most frustrated that I was unable to play in front of all of you.
I am deeply grateful to FC Tokyo for accepting this decision. Thank you to the strengthening department members, including General Manager Obara, who continued to face me. I will definitely grow and come back.
