About the Traffic Accident of FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa Coach Masato Ota

Yesterday, on Oct 28 (Sat), a passenger car driven by Masato OTA, the coach of FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa, which belongs to our club, had a single-vehicle accident while driving on the down line of the Metropolitan Expressway Route 1 (10 Asahi-cho, Ota-ku, Tokyo).
Note: There are no injuries to Masato OTA, the coach of FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa.
We apologize from the bottom of our hearts for the great inconvenience caused to everyone involved in this matter.
The club will issue a strict warning to coach Masato OTA and will thoroughly promote traffic safety among all players and staff to prevent recurrence.

2. Location: 10 Asahi-cho, Ota-ku, Tokyo


3. Overview
FC Tokyo U-15 coach Masato OTA was driving a regular passenger car (without any passengers) from the training ground to his home. While driving on the overtaking lane near Asahi-cho, Ota-ku, Tokyo, on the Metropolitan Expressway Route 1, he was blown by the wind and lost control of the steering wheel, scraping against the central divider after passing through a tunnel and making a curve to the right. The tire punctured as a result, and the right front headlight is damaged.
Note: Masato Ota, the coach, is not injured and there were no collisions with other vehicles.
After the accident, we promptly contacted the police and other relevant parties to respond.
