As part of the “TOKYO GROW WITH” program (student business staff), we held an exchange meeting with student interns active at the Chiba Jets, a professional basketball team belonging to the B.LEAGUE with Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture as their hometown.

FC Tokyo started the activities of student business staff as the "TOKYO GROW WITH" program from April 2025. Similarly, Chiba Jets launched a student internship program called "Chiba Jets NEXT STAGE Internship" in October of the same year, which led to the holding of this exchange meeting.
On the day, three student interns from the Chiba Jets and four student business staff from FC Tokyo participated. The event began with self-introductions by the students from both clubs, followed by sharing introductions of their respective duties, roles in home game operations, and daily learnings. Additionally, students from the Chiba Jets, whose program had just started in October, asked questions to the FC Tokyo students who had been active since April. In the latter half, a roundtable format was held for casual exchange of opinions and conversation.
When asked by a Chiba Jets student intern, "Was there anything you were conscious of during your activities in the TOKYO GROW WITH program?", the FC Tokyo student business staff responded, "Even if there was something I didn’t understand, I valued the attitude of first thinking independently rather than immediately relying on the full-time business staff," and "In home game operations, I was conscious of how things would appear from the perspective of the customers visiting the stadium while creating banners and display POPs," sharing the key points they were mindful of during their activities.
In addition to many pieces of advice based on their past experiences being shared by FC Tokyo's student business staff, the student interns from Chiba Jets also shared the characteristics and appeal of arena sports and productions, making it a fulfilling exchange that was educational for both sides.
