【7/15 Added Note】【Important】Regarding Spectator Etiquette for the 7/18 (Sat) Urawa Match

In matches under a state of heightened alert and strict security measures, in addition to the J-League's common spectator manners and rules, new measures have been established for game hosting and viewing methods as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
FC Tokyo will proceed with preparations for match hosting in accordance with the "J.League New Coronavirus Infection Control Guidelines".

Please check the following for the spectator manners for the match against Urawa Reds in the 2020 Meiji Yasuda J1 League 5th round on 7/18 (Sat) (Kickoff at 19:00 at Ajinomoto Stadium).
Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus and decisions made by the government and local authorities, there is a possibility that restrictions, transition periods, and operational methods may change suddenly.

Things required of all visitors
(1)Please have the courage to refrain from attending if it is not possible.
・If you are not feeling well (e.g. fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue, abnormal taste or smell)
・If there are individuals in your cohabiting family or close acquaintances who are suspected of being infected
・If there is travel to countries or regions that have been subject to entry restrictions and a mandatory observation period by the government within the past 14 days, or if there has been close contact with residents of such countries or regions

(2) Please refrain from shaking hands, hugging, etc.

(3) Please maintain social distance (when entering and exiting, in lines for the restroom, etc.).
Please use the restroom or the shop during the period just before the start of the game or during halftime as it may be crowded. Please try to use them at a different time if possible.

Please wear a mask at the (4) stadium.
When removing your mask for heatstroke prevention, please be sure to observe social distancing and cough etiquette.

(5) Please wash your hands and sanitize your hands frequently.
※Please bring disinfectant (portable bottle, etc.) from the perspective of infection prevention.

□New items to bring when watching the game
When visiting the stadium, please bring the following items in addition to your admission ticket.
・Mask
・Handkerchief

□Entry and exit to the stadium
(1)Your body temperature will be measured at the entrance gate, and if it is 37.5 degrees or higher, you will not be allowed to enter. Please note that even if you are refused entry, there will be no refunds. In addition, we may ask for your contact information when refusing entry.

(2) Hand sanitizers will be installed at all entrances. Please be sure to sanitize your hands.
※Please bring disinfectant in portable bottles or similar containers and perform frequent hand sanitization from the perspective of infection prevention.

(3) The entrance gates vary depending on the seat type. (Refer to the diagram below)
・Main 3 Gates: Main SS Seats, Main S Seats
・North Gate 2: SERRAO seats, back seats, home seats


(4) We plan to implement regulated exit after the end of the match from the perspective of infection prevention.
We plan to have the following order of exits, but each time, we will provide guidance through the in-venue announcements, so please follow the instructions and exit accordingly.
・1st: Main SS seats, Main S seats
・2nd: Center seats, Back seats
・3rd: Home seats
※We plan to provide exit guidance every 5 to 10 minutes.

※As mentioned in the following Q&A, we will not implement this in matches under the super strict measures (5,000 people limit), but we plan to have regulated exits in matches under the strict measures (50% limit).

(5) Re-entry is not allowed.

(6) We do not reserve a place to secure the order of admission before the opening.

□Events and Shops
(1) Events will be held with sufficient consideration for social distancing.
※Information regarding the events to be held will be provided on the official homepage, etc.

(2) Mascots do not greet outside the field or in the concourse.
※Details of mascot appearances will be provided on the official homepage, etc.

(3) Food and beverage (excluding alcohol) sales are available.
※Due to expected congestion at the on-site shops, please bring your own food and drinks as much as possible from the perspective of infection prevention.
※Information about the food and beverage vendors that will be implemented will be provided on the official homepage, etc.

(4) Goods sales will be conducted.
※The stores where the event will be held will be announced on the official homepage, etc.

(5) No temporary smoking area will be set up.

When lining up at events, food and drink stalls, and merchandise stalls, please be mindful of social distancing and leave space between each other.

□How to watch
(1)During the game, it is prohibited to move from your seat (such as sitting next to someone without leaving space, moving to the front of the stand to talk to players, or moving to a dry spot during rain).

(2) There are no visitor seats available. Please note that entry, watching, and cheering while wearing the away team's uniform and merchandise are not allowed.

(3) Even outside the stadium, please ensure social distancing and avoid behaviors that pose a risk of infection, such as shouting, singing, and cheering loudly, and gathering in close proximity.

□Supporting Style
The following actions are prohibited.
・Inciting support
・Cheering by singing or using a whistle
・Clapping hands ※Applause is allowed.
・Waving or spinning towels, flags, and other large banners
・Using megaphones, including Tramega
・Playing drums and other musical instruments
・High-fives and shoulder-to-shoulder contact
・Support using big flags
・Actions that may disturb other customers, such as displaying gate-type flags on seats

□Displaying Banners (Flags, Banners)
The locations for displaying banners (flags, banners, etc.) are predetermined. Please refrain from displaying them in locations other than the designated ones. Please follow the instructions of the staff when displaying them.

※Visiting team banners cannot be displayed.
※The use of tape when attaching banners is prohibited.


□Other Prohibited Items
・When visiting, please arrive at the stadium after the opening time.
・Please refrain from waiting near the player bus area or the staff entrance.
・Please do not come to the stadium or its vicinity if you do not have a ticket.

Please comply with the J-League Unified Prohibition Rules (J-League Common Spectator Etiquette & Rules), FC Tokyo Soccer Match Operation Management Regulations, and J-League New Coronavirus Infection Control Guidelines.


□Q&A
Q1. I'm feeling a little unwell, but my temperature is not over 37.5 degrees. Is it okay to go to the stadium?
A1. If you're feeling unwell, please have the courage to refrain from coming to the stadium, regardless of your body temperature.

Q2. Is there a shuttle bus?
A2. When in a state of extreme vigilance (5,000 people), shuttle bus service will not be available. Please use the regular bus service.


Q3. Is there a waiting line before the gates open?
A3. There is no waiting line before the gate opens. All seats are designated seats. Please refrain from coming to the stadium before the gate opens.

Q4. Will the Blue-Red Park be held?
A4. No AO-AKA PARK will be held for matches under the super strict security system (limit of 5,000 people). Please enjoy AO-AKA PARK Online, which is being streamed on the official YouTube channel.

Q5. Can I bring in drinks and food containing alcohol?
A5. There are no specific restrictions on bringing in food and drinks. However, as usual, bottles and cans must be transferred to paper cups.

Q6. Will it be crowded at the time of entry and exit?
A6. Please expect congestion if you arrive just before the start of the match. Please arrive with plenty of time to spare.
We will not implement it in matches under the super strict security measures (5,000 people limit), but we plan to enforce expulsion regulations in matches under strict security measures (50% limit).

Q7. Is it okay to place a uniform on the vacant seat next to me?
A7. No problem. However, please inform the people around you before placing it.

Q8. How can we liven up the atmosphere when announcing the team members?
A8. Shouting and inciting the surrounding crowd with clapping is prohibited. Please cheer with applause.

Q9. It's been a while since I last watched a game at Ajinomoto Stadium. I want to sing "You'll Never Walk Alone" to welcome the players.
A9. Singing out loud is prohibited. It is allowed to raise scarves, etc.


Q10. How can we liven up the atmosphere when players enter?
A10. Cheering out loud and clapping hands to incite others are prohibited. Please use applause to liven up the atmosphere.

Q11. Is it okay to hold up a towel scarf?
A11. There is no problem.
However, please refrain from displaying anything that may cause inconvenience to those around you. Also, waving or spinning towel scarves, etc. is prohibited.

Q12. Can we raise the gate flag (geefura)?
A12. Gate flags are not prohibited. However, please refrain from displaying flags that may cause inconvenience to those around you.

Q13. Do you have to remain silent during the game?
A13. There is no prohibition on natural voices and applause that occur during the game. Please applaud actively for good plays and support the players.
However, clapping and cheering out loud, which can lead to group support, are prohibited for infection prevention.

Q14. Can I move seats when it rains or when players approach?
It is prohibited to move from your seat during the game.

Q15. Are there any rules for waiting in line inside the stadium?
A15. Please line up in the waiting line at food and merchandise stores, toilets, etc. while maintaining social distance according to the instructions (such as floor markings) provided.
Please avoid using the restroom or the shops during the moments just before the start of the match or during halftime, as they tend to be crowded.

Q16. Are there any food and beverage stalls inside the stadium?
A16. Stadium shops are open. However, alcoholic beverages are not sold.
Also, bringing your own food and drinks is allowed. Please consider bringing your own to help reduce congestion inside the venue.

Q17. Can I take off my mask because it's too hot?
A17. There is no problem with removing the mask for heat stroke prevention. If you remove your mask, please be sure to maintain a social distance from those around you and consider cough etiquette.

Q18. Is there a merchandise store?
A18. The merchandise store will be open for business, but the items available for sale will be limited.
There are no new products available on the day of the match, so please consider using the official online store.

Q19. Is there a gachagacha?
A19. We sell gachagacha, but it is not sold through regular vending machines. Our sales staff will hand you the products.
Also, please refrain from activities such as exchanging goods that may lead to congestion.

Q20. Is alcohol disinfection installed?
A20. Alcohol disinfection is installed inside the venue, but please bring your own alcohol disinfection as much as possible.

Q21. If I forget my mask, are masks sold inside the venue?
Q21. Masks are not sold at the stadium. Please make sure to bring your own.

Q22. Is there a smoking area?
A22. It will not be installed inside the stadium.
