We would like to inform you that FC Tokyo U-23 has been decided to participate in the 2016 Meiji Yasuda J3 League at the J-League board meeting held today, December 15 (Tue).

 'The formation and participation of FC Tokyo U-23 in J3 this time is aimed at strengthening and developing players from 18 to 23 years old, which has been a challenge, and also a challenge to the bottom-up approach of the academy's various age groups. FC Tokyo aims to be a development-oriented club, producing representative players for the Olympics held in Tokyo in 2020, and ultimately aims to improve the level of Japanese soccer and develop players who can excel in the world.'
