Day 3 of Sweden Expedition.
Today, we participated in a training match (25 minutes per half) at a local club team, IFK Orby's invitation tournament.
The first match is against the South American state selection, Ryerson West U-16.
The match was dominated by Tokyo from start to finish.
Starting with Takei's middle shot goal early in the game, Furuya scored from a corner kick in the 12th minute, Uemura scored from a penalty kick he earned himself in the 23rd minute, and Uemura scored again in combination with Ueda in the 25th minute, making it 4-0 at halftime.
In the second half, Ueda scored in the 32nd minute and Sudo added another goal in the 41st minute to further extend the lead. Although we conceded a goal from a free kick in the 48th minute just before the end of the match, we won our first game of the current expedition with a score of 6-1.
The 2nd match is against the U-18 category team of the host team, IFK Orby.
Due to being in the first year of junior high school, we struggled with the physical strength at the beginning, but in the 9th minute, Sudo scored the opening goal with a middle shot after Yasuda, who joined the team from U-15, stole the ball and connected it.
After that, the offensive and defensive battle continued to go back and forth, but around the start of the second half, thunder began to roar, and unfortunately, the match was canceled due to a thunderstorm at the 37th minute. However, it turned out to be a good start with two consecutive victories.
After the match, a barbecue party was held with the American team and the women's team that we competed against, and the players deepened their interactions.
