□ About "Women's Health Week"
From March 1st to 8th is "Women's Health Week". During Women's Health Week, the government and local public organizations will promote various activities to comprehensively support women in living a healthy, bright, and fulfilling life independently throughout their lifetime.
In female-specific cancers such as cervical cancer and breast cancer, the number of people who develop cancer has been increasing rapidly from their 20s for cervical cancer and from their 30s for breast cancer. It is said that most of these cancers can be cured if detected and treated early, but many people do not undergo cancer screening. The screening rate in Tokyo is currently below the target of 50% set by the city.
Therefore, in order to encourage cervical cancer and breast cancer screenings in Tokyo, we will be conducting campaigns and panel exhibitions in collaboration with companies and industry organizations during this week. Why not take this opportunity to think about your own health as well?
